1929 Kashin R316 Babe Ruth
The 1929 R316 Kashin baseball card set was produced by Kashin Publications of New York City. These cards were printed with a white border, black-and-white photograph, and printed autograph. The photographs are believed to have been taken by Charles Conlon. Kashin Publications released several pictures of early twentieth-century movie stars but 1929 was its the only baseball card set produced by the company.
The 1929 Kashin Babe Ruth card is one of the more affordable well-known cards from Ruth's playing career. The card shows Ruth in a full batter's stance. It can often be found for well under $1000, even in very good condition.
